Removals with survey- man van blackburn
Nowadays my routine is making sure the removals van arrives on time as agreed at the house to be moved then moving on in my car to do some removal quotes while the crew are loading the van, the first job on Monday was a small Lytham removals local which went ok apart from a small mis-demeanor with a mirrored door which fell over in the van and broke the glass, when I dropped by later I took the door round to the the local glass repair place, which is usually the best idea on small claims such as these, I very rarely get claims these days so it didn’t seem right to bother the insurance company with this.
Thursday was removals surveys day, the first job was a job from Blackburn to Skegness, bit of a Budget one if you know what I mean, everything on the first floor flat, plus it was full. The customers son showed me round, however it was worth a shot I suppose you never know, but I had the feeling that they wanted a cheaper company than mine, having said that it was quite a big move so I was wasn’t sure how the man/van brigade could do it with one van.
The second survey was more my cup of tea, high class job in Brockhall Village, which right by the Blackburn Rovers Training ground, turns out luckily that most of the goods needed to come into storage at my warehouse with a small amount to move locally.
The third job was a lady wanting removals in Blackburn, again a lot of stuff to move.
While I was traveling between the jobs I was listening to Radio Lancashire who were at Blackburn college attending a local networking event, some of my old networking pals were being interviewed so I thought I would drop by and say hello. After that I traveled back to work and extract some storage containers
