Removals from Chorley with a regular
So now the summer removals madness begins to kick in, it has always been the busiest time of the tear due to the youngsters starting their summer break. My first task this morning was to unload an empty storage container then wait for the removal crew to arrive.
Once underway I travelled to Euxton near Chorley, the address wasn’t the easiest to get to because of the low bridges on the A49 however we were there in good time, the customer was a regular of mine and is always on the move, talking about a small world her husband was the engineer who came out to my broken shower last year.
Once I had introduced the customer to the removals crew I jumped in my car to carry out a survey in Longridge, the lady showed me round as her husband was working abroad. The family were moving to Cockerham which can be tricky access so I agreed to go and have a look at the delivery address access at the weekend while staying at my partners house in Stalmine.
After completing the removals quote, I travelled back to the storage units and some lunch, normally I make sure the removal crews are fed however I was lucky that the customer in Euxton had them well looked after. Time now to travel back up to Euxton and move the removal van to the destination address in Leyland.
This time I had a survey to carry out in Blackburn for an elderly couple moving to Wiltshire, followed by collecting the removal van once more for heading home. Another survey to look at for a small removal from Blackburn to Church Stretton, this particular job would be a waste sending a large van with it only being 300 cuft, so a small hire van would be more suitable as it is faster and more economical.
